DESCRIPTION:

FX-763 Low Modulus Hydro Ester® Trowel Grade Epoxy is a 100% solids, moisture insensitive, non-sag epoxy adhesive. FX-763 has a convenient 2 to 1 mix ratio by volume and is ideal for repairs of vertical or overhead surfaces. FX-763 exceeds the requirements of ASTM C 881-99, Types I, II, and V, Grade 3, Class "B" and "C".

SURFACE PREPARATION:

For best results, areas to receive the FX-763 LM should be free of laitance, grease, oil, and any other contaminants, which would inhibit bond. Sandblasting, waterblasting, or wire brushing, are recommended for surface preparation.

MIXING:

Combine two parts by volume of Component "A" with one part by volume of Component "B" of FX-763 in a clean pail, using a slow speed drill and an FX-Mixing Paddle. Mix for a minimum of three (3) minutes to a uniform consistency. To obtain a mortar, slowly add a maximum of one part by volume of FX-701 Filler while continuing to mix.

Double Barrel Gun: No prior mixing is required when applying material on tube sets.

APPLICATION:

Depending on usage, apply with trowel, putty knife or squeegee. If used as adhesive, spread with 1/8 or 1/4 inch notched trowel. Work into properly prepared surface.

COVERAGE:

When used neat, a 1 gallon unit of FX-763 Low Modulus Hydro Ester® Trowel Grade Epoxy will cover approximately 80 square feet (7.4 m) at a 20 mil thickness.

When used as a mortar, a 3 gallon unit of FX-763, mixed with 3 gallons by volume of FX-701 Filler, will yield approximately 1,050 cubic inches of mortar.

SHELF LIFE:

2 years

LIMITATIONS:

FX-763 should not be applied when surface temperatures are below 40°F (4.4°C).For best results, do not exceed one part by volume of FX-701 Filler to one part by volume of mixed FX-763.

CAUTION:

"A" Component contains epoxy resin. DANGER! "B" Component contains alkaline amines; strong sensitizer. May cause skin sensitization or other allergic responses. Use with good ventilation, particularly if material is heated or sprayed. Prevent all contact with skin or eyes. Wear protective clothing, goggles, gloves and/or barrier creams. Keep container closed when not in use. Wash thoroughly after handling.

FIRST AID:

In case of skin contact, immediately wash with soap and water. In case of eye contact, flush eyes with copious amounts of water for at least fifteen (15) minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. If irritation persists, seek medical attention. Wash clothing before reuse.
