DESCRIPTION:

FX-743 Hydro-Ester® Trowel Grade Epoxy Fast Setting is a 100% solids, moisture insensitive epoxy system with a curing mechanism that allows low temperature application. Mixed at a 1:1 ratio by volume, it provides a non-sagging material that is ideal for repairs, or bonding of vertical or overhead surfaces at low temperatures.

FX-743 exceeds the requirements of ASTM C-881-02, Types I, II, and Grade 3, Class A & B, 40°F and under.

ADVANTAGES:

FX-743 will bond to damp or dry surfaces. It may be feather-edged and will not shrink. It has excellent resistance to gasoline, oil, sewage and aggressive water.

SURFACE PREPARATION:

For best results, areas to receive FX-743 should be free of laitance, grease, oil, and other contaminants which would inhibit bond. Sandblasting, waterblasting, or wire brushing for surface preparation are recommended.

MIXING:

Mix FX-743 in a clean pail, using a slow speed drill and an FX-Mixing Paddle. To obtain a mortar, add FX-Filler slowly while continuing to mix.

When mixed neat, a 2-gallon unit of FX-743 Hydro Ester® Trowel Grade Epoxy Fast Setting will cover approximately 80-square feet at a 60 mil thickness. When used, as a mortar, a 2-gallon unit of FX-743 mixed with a maximum of 2-gallons by volume of FX-701 Filler will yield approximately 700 cubic inches of mortar.

LIMITATIONS:

FX-743 Hydro-Ester® Trowel Grade Epoxy Fast Setting should not be used in the presence of ice. Do not apply to frozen concrete or masonry surfaces.

SHELF LIFE:

Two (2) years in closed container

PACKAGING:

FX-743 is conveniently packaged in 2-gallon, 10-gallon, and 110-gallon units.

CAUTION:

"A" Component may cause skin sensitization or other allergic responses. Avoid inhalation of vapor. Use good ventilation, particularly if material is heated or sprayed. Prevent contact with skin and eyes. If skin is contacted, wash immediately with soap and water. If eyes are contacted, flush immediately with water and consult a physician. SPI5.

"B" Component—In case of contact, immediately flush eyes or skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Call a physician. Wash clothing before reuse. Discard contaminated shoes.
