DESCRIPTION:

FX-Jet Set Accelerator is an amine based material formulated to increase the cure rate of FX-Jet Set products. The liquid accelerator is normally used to compensate for reaction delay due to cold weather or cold water temperatures. It is always used with FX-V Jet Set (hydrophobic) Grout to accelerate the reaction. Depending on the temperature and amount of accelerator used, the grout quickly cures to closed cell polyurethane foam that is resistant to most organic solvents, mild acids, alkali, petroleum and micro-organisms.

HOW TO USE:

FX-Jet Set Accelerator is added to the mixing water or FX-Jet Set at a rate of 2 to 10 percent by weight. Mix approximately 2 to 12 fluid ounces of accelerator to 5 gallons of mixing water. Pour the desired amount of Jet Set or mix water into a clean pail. Measure the appropriate amount of Jet Set accelerator and pour it into and stir until adequately mixed.

The Jet Set should never be used with more accelerator than the amount recommended on this TDS. Excess acceleration will cause vigorous expansion that is prone to shrinkage.

CAUTION:

Danger: Contains amine compounds. Avoid contact with skin and avoid breathing vapors. Wear rubber gloves and goggles to protect skin and eyes. In case of skin contact, wash thoroughly with soap and water. In case of eye contact flush immediately with water and contact a physician. Use in well ventilated areas.
