DESCRIPTION:

FX-I JET SET is a one component, MDI based hydrophilic sealing and grouting polymer. FX-I Jet Set is an acetone free, non flammable liquid. The liquid resin reacts rapidly in the presence of water or moisture and expands to form an impermeable HYDROPHOBIC barrier. Once reacted FX-I Jet Set is insoluble to water, oil and other aggressive chemicals.

ADVANTAGES:

Contrary to all construction material where surfaces must be dry, FX-I Jet Set is applied to moist or wet environments. It can be pumped into water with a piston pump. Water is part of the chemical reaction. FX-I Jet Set produces an excellent bond to many construction materials by chemical linking. It is resistant to many chemicals present and it produces a flexible seal.

FX-I Jet Set Accelerator is specially formulated to increase the cure rate of FX-I Jet Set. The accelerator liquid is normally used to compensate for cold weather or cold water temperatures. Add to the mixing water at a rate of 3 fluid ounces of accelerator to 5 gallons of mixing water.

HOW TO USE:

FX-I Jet Set is used in many ways to stop water leakage.

A. FX-I Jet Set is used to pressure inject in cracks or hairline cracks, the same way as low viscosity epoxy resins are used. Cracks should be wet, not dry. In case cracks are dry, moisten with water.

B. In concrete or steel liners, such as in tunnels or foundations, holes are drilled, one way valves installed, and FX-I Jet Set is pumped in. Once in Contact with water, a chemical reaction takes place, and it sets within 3 to 5 minutes.

C. In sewer line joints or any large construction joints, absorptive material such as rope, jute, oakum, is saturated with FX-I Jet Set. Excess material is removed off the saturated jute. Compact saturated material into the joint with a putty knife, wood stick, or any suitable method. Pour water on top saturated jute and place next layer until joint is 1/4" +/- below joint surface.

D. In sealed expansion joints that are sealed with elastic sealant, the FX-I Jet Set is injected with a syringe or any other injection equipment behind the sealant, where it reacts with moisture to produce a waterproof elastic joint.

FX-I JET SET is available in 5 gallon pails closed head with 2" barrel flange plastic plug.

CAUTION:

Contains Urethane Polymeric Organic Isocyanates. May cause respiratory sensitization or other allergic responses, avoid inhalation of vapor. Use good ventilation or OSHA approved breathing apparatus. Prevent all contact with skin and eyes. Wear protective clothing, gloves, goggles, and/or barrier creams. If contact occurs, wash immediately with soap and water. In case of contact with eyes, flush immediately with water and contact a physician.
