FX-III Jet Set Hydrophilic Sealing and Grouting Compound
MSDS Download
FX-III was used in the following case studies:
- Building Perimeter Waterproofed and Soil Stabilized
- Water Leaks in Electrical Conduits Permanently Sealed
- FX-III Stabilizes Soil Below Utility Substations
- Seal Leaks in Blue Mountain Tunnel
DESCRIPTION:
FX-III Jet Set is a one-component, hydrophilic sealing and grouting compound used to stop water leaks in wet environments. FX-III Jet Set reacts with water and cures rapidly into a tough, flexible, closed-cell compound. FX-III is insoluble to water and resistant to many other chemicals. FX-III Jet Set is a non-flammable liquid and does not contaminate potable water.
ADVANTAGES:
- FX-III Jet Set is a simple to use, one component material.
- FX-III Jet Set cures to a flexible, permanent seal with excellent bond to most construction materials.
- FX-III Jet Set is non red label, not a flammable or combustible liquid.
- FX-III Jet Set is applied in a moist and wet environment.
- FX-III Jet Set can be machine-pumped or hand-applied by caulking cartridge.

HOW TO USE:
FX-III Jet Set is used in many ways to stop water leaks.
- FX-III Jet Set is used to pressure inject in cracks or hairline cracks, the same way as low viscosity epoxy resins are used. Cracks should be wet, not dry. If cracks are dry, moisten with water.
- In expansion joints that are sealed with polysulphide, polyurethane, silicone, or any other sealant, FX-III Jet Set is injected behind the sealant to produce a waterproof elastic joint.
- In concrete or steel liners, such as in tunnels or foundations, holes are drilled, one way valves or packers installed, and FX-III Jet Set is pumped in. Once FX-III Jet Set makes contact with water, a chemical reaction takes place, and it sets within 3 to 5 minutes.
- In sewer line joints or any large size joints, to produce the most economical cost per linear foot, saturate any absorbent material such as rope, jute, or oakum, with FX-III Jet Set. Remove excess FX-III Jet Set and force into joint. Spray with water to activate. Repeat procedure until joint is filled.
SHELF LIFE:
Six (6) months
PACKAGING:
FX-III Jet Set is available in 1 quart, 1 gallon, 5 gallon pails and 55 gallon drums.
