FX-707 Synthetic Traction Crystals

DESCRIPTION:

FX-707 Synthetic Traction Crystals are a hard, polymeric aggregate used in coatings to provide slip resistant properties. It is non-hazardous and easy to use. Mix the recommended quantity of FX-707 into the coating just prior to application. The low specific gravity of FX-707 keeps it in suspension while being applied; eliminating the need to continuously restir the coatings.

ADVANTAGES:

Provides uniform non-skid properties to coated surfaces.
Non-Settling - Remains in suspension after addition.
Compatable with most commercially marketed coatings.
Non-Toxic, no crystalline silica.

WHERE TO USE:

Epoxy coatings, urethane coatings, acrylics, waterbased coatings. For slip resistance on stair treads, floors, parking areas and other areas where non-slip is required.

APPLICATION:

The amount of FX-707 will vary, depending on degree of slip resistant properties desired. Start with 1/2 pound per gallon of coating. Stir well into coating for (2) two minutes; apply coating immediately. The coating may then be used as long as the pot life is not exceeded.
