FX-751 LV Hydro-Ester® Epoxy
MSDS Download
FX-751 LV was used in the following case studies:
DESCRIPTION:
FX-751 LV Hydro-Ester® High Strength 100% solids moisture insensitive epoxy is a development of many years of laboratory research and field applications, under water and above, which, when injected by machine or hand method, will achieve maximum penetration in hairline cracks.
FX-751 LV meets and exceeds any and all physical requirements of ASTM C-881-02, Types I, II, IV, Grade 1, Class B.
ADVANTAGES:
Penetrates cracks and fills voids, welding concrete and restoring structural integrity. Mixes easily either in automatic pressure injection machine or with mixing paddle and slow speed drill. Low viscosity assures maximum penetration into hairline cracks.
HOW TO USE:
Automatic Pressure Injection High Pressure: To inject FX-751 LV Hydro-Ester® Epoxy using an automatic pressure injection machine, verify that the equipment is regulated for a 2A :1B ratio by volume for proper mixing at the static mixing head. Surface seal crack and set injection ports with FX-763 Hydro-Ester® Trowel Grade Epoxy or FX-764 Splash Zone. Whenever possible, seal backside of crack to prevent material loss during injection. After FX-763 or FX-764 has hardened, the epoxy shall be injected under pressure, through a static mixer and feed line attached by connector to the injection port. The operation shall be continued until epoxy material advances to and begins to flow from the next port. Repeat from port to port until the entire crack has been treated in one continuous operation. Inject vertical cracks from bottom to top and horizontal cracks, from one end to the opposite end. Allow FX-751 LV to cure 12 to 24 hours @ 70°F (21.1°C). Remove excess epoxy sealer where necessary by grinding.
Hand Held Dual Cartridge Caulking Gun Low Pressure
- Surface seal cracks and set injection ports and inject as outlined above.
- Pressure inject cracks with FX-751 LV Hydro-Ester Epoxy using hand held dual cartridge caulking gun with static mixing head, follow procedure as outlined above.

PACKAGING:
FX-751 LV is packaged in 3-gallon and 15-gallon
LIMITATIONS:
Do not thin FX-751 LV; solvents will prevent proper cure. Applications at temperature below 50°F (10.0°C) will prolong cure.
Epoxy resin (Component A) may crystallize. Heating material to 120°F and stirring will reconstitute material to original condition. Allow to cool before using.
CAUTION:
"A" Component contains epoxy resin. DANGER! "B" Component contains alkaline amines; strong sensitizer. May cause skin sensitization or other allergic responses. Use with good ventilation, particularly if material is heated or sprayed. Prevent all contact with skin or eyes. Wear protective clothing, goggles, gloves and/or barrier creams. Keep container closed when not in use. Wash thoroughly after handling.
FIRST AID:
In case of skin contact, immediately wash with soap and water. In case of eye contact, flush eyes with copious amounts of water for fifteen (15) minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. If irritation persists, seek medical attention. Wash clothing before reuse.
FOR INDUSTRIAL USE ONLY. KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN. 10/2009
