FX-336 Rewettable Adhesion Promoter

DESCRIPTION:
FX-336 is a liquid copolymer used as a rewettable adhesion promoter for cementitious toppings. FX-336 can be applied to concrete and masonry in advance of cementitious toppings. The topping can be applied to FX-336 immediately, or if allowed to dry, it will rewet and produce a good bond.
ADVANTAGES:
- Improved bond of cementitious toppings
- Prevents water absorption of the topping by the substrate
- Rewettable, cement toppings can be applied as much as one month after FX-336 is first applied.
- Easy to use one component material
- Produces a membrane that will seal map cracks and very fine hairline cracks
SURFACE PREPARATION:
Surfaces should be sound and free of dirt, oil, grease and curing compounds. Power wire brushing, waterblasting or sandblasting are the recommended methods.
APPLICATION:
Mix 1 gallon of FX-336 with up to 2 gallons clean potable water. Mix for 2-3 minutes then apply immediately. Spread by brush, roller or spray over substrate at 200-300 square feet per gallon. For best results apply topping material while FX-336 is tacky.
PACKAGING:
FX-336 is available in 55 gallon drums and 5 gallon pails.
LIMITATIONS:
"Diluted material cannot be stored for use." Dilute FX-336 as needed for particular area and amount to be used. Protect from freezing.

1 year
CAUTION:
Avoid contact with skin. Wash thoroughly after handling. In case of contact with eyes, flush with water for at least 15 minutes. If irritation continues, see a physician.
