DESCRIPTION:

FX-102 Resilient Fiberfree Pads are monolithically manufactured, brown in color, with exceptional physical properties.

WHERE TO USE:

FX-102 Resilient Fiberfree Pads will withstand the loads over 15,000 psi without failure. This tough resilient pad has the ability to distribute the load, absorb impact and dampen vibration, while reducing noise levels.The fiberfree manufacturing process prevents the penetration of oils, resists aging, tearing and provides twice the ozone resistance when compared to rubber, butyl or silicone.

SURFACE PREPARATION:

Solvent wiping is sufficient in most cases to assure a bond. When bonding to concrete, steel, or other substrates, use FX-523 Flex-E-Pox

BEARING PAD—The Resilient Fiberfree Pad shall meet the following requirements:

Hardness, Shore A    ASTM D-2240	90 +/- 5
Compression-Deflection    MIL-C882C - Mod    No Fabric Required	800 psi -7% max.
Volume Swell    MIL-C-882C - Mod    No Fabric Required	1% max.
Deformation    MIL-C-882C-Mod    No Fabric Required	15,000 psi without detrimental deformation. No ruptures.
Permanent Set    MIL-C-882C Mod    No Fabric Required	2000 psi-2.0% max.
Tensile Strength    ASTM D-412	5,500 psi - min
Ultimate Elongation    ASTM D-412	250 % - min
