Chemical resistanceacids, alkalies, alcohols, acetone, cellosolves, toluene, xylene and other solvents. 100% retention of flexural strength after two (2) weeks cure followed by seven (7) days immersion at 77°F and 140°F in the following:

Remove dirt, loose particles and oil contaminants by scarification, sandblasting,or acid etching and thoroughly rinsing with water.
Mix 1 part "A" Component with 1 part "B" Component using a low-speed, 1/2" FX-Mixing Paddle for 3-5 minutes. Apply immediately. Apply by brush or roller or spray. May require heat for spraying. High temperatures will shorten pot life.
FX-464 can be applied by brush or roller or airless spray equipment. FX-464 is designed to be applied in two (2) coats at 10 to 15 mils each. Heating and plural component apparatus should be used when spraying. Recommended plural component spray equipment is Graco Extreme Mix 68:1 with heaters on unit plus heated lines, or approved equal. Recommended spray tip size is .019 to .021. All spray equipment must employ traps to prevent water and oil from contaminating coating.

WARNING! "A" Component contains Epoxy Resin. "B" Component contains alkaline amines; strong sensitizer. May cause skin sensitization or other allergic responses. Avoid inhalation of vapor. Use good ventilation, particularly if the material is heated or sprayed. Prevent all contact with skin and eyes. Wear protective clothing, goggles, gloves, and/or barrier creams. If contact with skin occurs, wash immediately with water and contact a physician.
In case of contact, immediately flush eyes or skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Call a physician. Wash clothing before reuse. Discard contaminated shoes. Wear protective clothing, goggles, gloves, and/or barrier creams.
