FX-467
High Solids Epoxy Primer
DESCRIPTION:
FX-467 High Solids Epoxy Primer is a two-component, clear or pigmented, VOC compliant floor coating. FX-467 is fast drying and will cure in temperatures as low as 35°F. Its convenient 2A:1B mixing ratio, no induction time and long pot life simplify mixing and application. FX-467 protects by penetrating concrete or wood and has excellent adhesion to damp concrete, it is an excellent concrete primer.

SURFACE PREPARATION:
Concrete Surfaces: Concrete surfaces shall be cleaned to remove dirt, curing compounds, existing coatings or laitance to provide a clean, sound bonding surface. Cleaning may be accomplished with FX-Masonry Cleaner and waterblasting, acid etching and waterblasting, sandblasting, or other methods that achieve a similar result.
MIXING:
Combine two parts by volume of "A" with one part by volume of "B" (mixing ratio 2A:1B). Mix for not less than three minutes, using a slow speed drill, (300 to 600 rpm) and a FX-Mixing Paddle. When mixing has been completed, apply immediately no induction time is needed.
APPLICATION:
FX-467 may be applied by brush, roller or spray. All spray equipment must employ traps to prevent water and oil from contaminating coating.
COVERAGE:
FX-467 High Solids Epoxy Primer will cover approximately 200 sq. ft./gal./coat dependent upon surface texture. For best results, use two (2) coats.

PACKAGING:
FX-467 is packaged in three (3) gallon and fifteen (15 ) gallon units.
CAUTION:
WARNING! A Component contains epoxy resin. DANGER! B Component contains alkaline amines; strong sensitizer. May cause skin sensitization or other allergic responses. Use with good ventilation, particularly if materials is heated or sprayed. Prevent all contact with skin or eyes. Wear protective clothing, goggles, gloves and/or barrier creams. Keep container closed when not in use. Wash thoroughly after handling.
FIRST AID:
In case of skin contact, immediately wash with soap and water. In case of eye contact, flush eyes with copious amounts of water for at least fifteen (15) minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. If irritation persists, seek medical attention. Wash clothing before reuse.
