Creating innovative solutions is never easy. Building trust and lasting relationships with customers is equally difficult. But when Douglas L. Fox, part chemist, part inventor, part entrepreneur, founded Fox Industries amidst the giants of the concrete-repair industry in 1969, he set out to do both. Filling a need for innovative repair solutions to problems in construction, transportation, industry and particularly the marine sector, Fox Industries grew and built a reputation for quality products and exceptional customer support.

Today, Fox epoxies, polymers, coatings, sealers, admixtures, grouts and other products are used in many parts of the world. From the U.S. to South America, Europe and Asia, engineers have come to depend on the reliability and flexibility of Fox and our fine products. True to our foundations, Fox has never lost sight of the vision of our founder, not to be the biggest supplier, but to be among the best.

On December 1, 2011 Fox Industries was acquired by Simpson Strong Tie, another company dedicated to quality and customer service that was founded by Barclay Simpson, over 55 years ago. Mr Fox's son and daughter, Michael Fox and Edye Fox Abrams, and the company's longtime president Carl Scheffel, had recognized that the best route through which to grow the company was to join a larger company dedicated to the same principles that Fox was founded on. Simpson Strong Tie's commitment to product engineering and testing, strong specifications, dedicated customer service and global platform, resonated with the Fox family's vision for the future. Having joined the Simpson Strong-Tie team, the Fox management team and employees are now putting their experience to work to build a concrete restoration, protection and strengthening product line second to none.

Once a niche player in the concrete repair market, Fox now claims prestigious customers in commercial, industrial and maritime construction, utility and power generation and government services projects. Our commitment to our customers and a history of innovation have defined our past.
